Better Late Than Never!

So I started today what I should have started a month or 2 ago, my throwing practice to make sure I don’t suffer from dead arm, horrible aim, or get an injury while down at camp.

Living in New England lends a problem to the normal course of being able to throw and practice in the months leading up to camp in February.

Cold Weather
Short Daylight
Snowy/Bad Weather

All these things make it pretty tough to take care of proper preparation for the week down at camp. I have been unable to find anyone to play catch with, and have nowhere at home that makes a productive place to even play catch with myself, especially since it is way too dark before I go to work and when I get home from work.

My plan is now to use my lunch hour to throw for 10-15 minutes or so against the side of the building, I figure I can use this to build up some arm strength along with some reflexes if I move close enough to the wall while throwing to help work on my glove work at the same time.

After my first 10 minute session, I had forgotten how much of a work out just throwing the ball can be, I am tired and want a nap right now… Hmmm… I could crawl under the desk and no one would notice… ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
